Our Commitment to the Youth of Today:

The Rotary International Youth Exchange Program is designed to advance international understanding, peace, and goodwill at the individual level.  This exchange program is one of the largest Youth Exchange programs in the world. Students accepted into the program can choose from a list of over 50 different countries in which to live, with Rotary designated families.

Inbound Program

International students, between the ages of 15 1/2 - 18 1/2 years old, are hosted by our district.  Students live with one to three host families for approximately four months in each home.

Outbound Program

Our district is a member of Central States Rotary Youth Exchange, which is able to sponsor student exchanges to approximately 43 countries.  Students spend approximately 10 1/2 months in a host country, with up to three host families.

Summer Program

The Rotary Summer Program is a one-for-one exchange from one to six weeks, determined by the families.  This program is for students aged 15-19 and usually runs for 3 to 4 weeks during June, July or August.

It is the duty of all Rotarians, Rotarian's spouses, partners and any other volunteers to safeguard the welfare of children and young people with whom they come into contact, and the Berlin Wisconsin Rotary Club is a proud participant in this program.
