Over $130,000 Awarded in Scholarships So Far

Berlin Wisconsin's Rotary club has supported youth initiatives for a long time as part of its community service and outreach efforts.  In 2010, Rotary International declared "new generations" as one of its core avenues of service.

An applicant must intend to focus his/her graduate program and future career plans related to at least one of the following Rotary areas of focus:

Peace and conflict prevention/resolution
Disease prevention and treatment
Water and sanitation
Maternal and child health
Basic education and literacy
Economic and community development

In considering a recipient for the scholarship award, we review leadership, good character and conduct, and, especially, service to his or her home community, our school community, and the world-wide community.

A very worthy program, and one that the Berlin Wisconsin Rotary proud in which to participate.
